Isaac Kwiatkowski

Isaac’s students learn to hear, play, feel and read music with a balance that serves them no matter where their path takes them. He has guided dozens of students from all ages to become attentive and present musicians, able to complement or lead in multiple musical contexts including solo and group performance, recording and improvisation. His discipline in multiple instruments and genres has served as a foundation for his students to explore music in depth as he teaches students how to make music feel alive, not mechanical.

Isaac takes particular pride in changing the perspective of students who think music is boring. He believes that the underpinning of all musicality is a love for sound. Taking steps towards creating a sound which they love is exciting, empowering, and motivating for both student and teacher. Perpetually ‘waitlist only,’ students should sign up quickly when he has availability as it never lasts long. His students tend to stay with him, and have been known to attend his live performances throughout Victoria, learning even when they are not in lessons.
